TITLE : NATIONAL STANDING OPFFER RANGE LIGHTS
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Québec Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority.
Bids must be submitted by fax to the number indicated in the bid solicitation or electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows bidders to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.
Hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject bid solicitation.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Provide, as and when required for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada - The Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) a batch of approximately 500 lanterns (range lights) for the replacement of its nationwide assets. The range lights will be deployed across the entire country at various aid to navigation sites (6 different delivery points) and are divided into 4 categories, depending on light intensity.
Offerors can bid for any type of lantern they wish, or for all 4 types. In addition, offerors will be able to win one or more categories.
The Standing offer will be national but managed by the Arctic region, Saint-Laurent sector, Quebec.
The Standing Offer will be for a period of one year with the possibility of two (2) optional periods of one (1) year each.
Please note that the évaluation of the bids will also consist in the examination of a sample. Please consult the standing offer's section 7.A.7 ''Canada’s Right to Require the Submission of a Sample'' for more details.
PLACE OF DELIVERY:
Lanterns should be delivered FOB to 6 different adresses, on 6 provinces.
PROPOSED DELIVERY TIME
Delivery must be made within 6 weeks from date of receipt of a call-up against the Standing Offer.

DEBRIEFINGS
Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days from receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
