II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
The objective of the procurement is to enter into a maintenance contract for the Avaya Aura platform, which is the existing IT system for IP telephony in Helse Vest. The contract will also be used for supplementary procurements of Avaya IP telephony equipment. The existing infrastructure/platform will be continued due to disproportionately high costs involved in replacing it. The system is defined as critical infrastructure.
The maintenance contract will include assistance with the set-up and troubleshooting, etc., as well as maintenance/operation, including updating software and 24/7-365 technical user support.
There are currently approx. 18,000 activated users of the IP telephony system. The system must allow for adjustments to the number of users, both up and down in the contract's lifetime.
