Description

Description

UNICEF East Asia and Pacific Regional Office (EAPRO) has now issued a Request for Proposals reference to LRPS-2020-9163186 in order to identify a qualified institution to provide A multi country review: Adolescents Engagement and Skills Acquisition in Digital Spaces, Understanding Opportunities, Empowerment and Inclusion Online.

To contribute to the fifth key area of Reimagine Education, UNICEF EAPRO is seeking to contract an institution to lead a multi country regional research initiative exploring the different avenues, approaches and opportunities to learning and skills development that adolescents and youth have access to and utilize online– with a focus on a few specific vulnerable groups, such as those out of school, young people with disabilities, and girls from ethnic/religious minority groups among others who are most likely to be left out of the digital world. In order to understand the potential of young people to be actively engaged in their learning pathways and co-create digital solutions, the research will also look at how young people acquire knowledge and skills through recreational initiatives such as online games; interest-based or hobby-based online groups/networks such photography clubs, movie or music groups; and social innovations networks among others.
