Loan No.: 7681-KZ   Contract Title: “South – West” Roads Development Project, Reconstruction of the International Transit Corridor “Western Europe – Western China” Road Section “Uzynagash- Otar, Km 101-143”   Reference No.: SWRP-101-143-ICB-001/2021   The  Republic of Kazakhstan has received financing from  the World Bank toward the cost of the “ South – West” Roads Development Project, Reconstruction of the International Transit Corridor “Western Europe – Western China” Road Section “Uzynagash-Otar, Km 101-143”,, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for: Lot 2: Km 101-143 Section The  Committee for roads of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan  now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Civil Works for Road reconstruction of section “Uzynagash- Otar ”,Km 101-143, the first B Category Road  with asphalt pavement (four lane)  in  Almaty region of  the Republic of Kazakhstan. The scope of major Works and construction duration are:  3300 thousand  m3 of earthworks, 737 thousand m3 of granular pavement,196 thousand m3 of cement stabilized  base  and  137 thousand m3  of asphalt work. The construction duration is 33 months. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers dated January 2011 (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest. Bids must be delivered to the address as below before August  25, 2021 at 15.30 (Local time in Nur-Sultan, the Republic of Kazakhstan). Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
