This General Procurement Notice is an update and follows the one published on the EBRD's Website on 20 July 2016 with a Procurement reference: 7953-GPN-47461

The State of Bosnia and Herzegovina/Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina received a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for a FBH Roads Floods Repairs and Upgrade Project. The Loan of € 65,00 Million consists of two tranches under which will be procured the following.

First Tranche:

• Civil works relating to the repair of damages caused by heavy floods during May 2014, for the reconstruction of bridges and tunnel, the construction of a part of the Mostar bypass and the reconstruction of parts of the existing road section Kaonik – Gromiljak;

• Consultancy services for construction supervision and institutional strengthening

Second Tranche:

• Civil works for the construction of new road sections including the bypasses in Mostar, Bihac, Bugojno, Donji Vakuf, Grude and Novi Travnik, and a part of the road section Bihac - Bosanska Krupa

• Consultancy services for construction supervision

Tendering for the above works and services included in the First Tranche is expected to commence in the first half of 2017, and for works and services included in Second Tranche in the second quarter 2018.

Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of EBRD loan will be subject to the EBRD's “Procurement Policies and Rules” (issued October 2014) and will be opened to firms from any country. The proceeds of the loan will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons, entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law or official regulation of the Purchaser's country.
