Country: Somalia Grant No.: TSF 5900155007902 & ADF 21OO15502891 Procurement Method: Open Competitive Bidding (National) (OCBN) OCBN No: DRSLPII/PL/W14/OCBN/011/2021 LOT 1; DRSLPII/PL/W14/OCBN/011/2021 LOT 2 Issued on: 20 December 2021 1.    The Federal Republic of Somalia has received financing through the Intergovernmental Development Authority “IGAD” from the African Development Fund   hereinafter called the Bank toward the cost of the Drought Resilience and Sustainable Livelihoods Programme in the Horn of Africa- Project II (DRSLP II) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Construction/Rehabilitation of Feeder Roads in Puntland: (1) 35km from Sheerbi to Dhahar (Lot 1), and, (2) 20KM from Dhahar to Hingalool (Lot 2).   2.    Save the Children International- Garowe Office now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Construction/Rehabilitation of Feeder Roads in Puntland: (1) 35km from Sheerbi to Dhahar (Lot 1) for a period of 10 months, and, (2) 20KM from Dhahar to Hingalool (Lot 2) for a period of 6 months.  3.    Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding (National), OCBN  procedures as specified in the Bank’s Procurement Framework dated 1 st January 2016 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework.  4.    Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Save the Children International- Garowe Office via email – [email protected] and inspect the Bidding document during office hours at the address given below.  5.    The Bidding document in English may be obtained by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a request via email to [email protected] quoting IFB reference DRSLPII/PL/W14/OCBN/011/2021 LOT 1 and/or DRSLPII/PL/W14/OCBN/011/2021 LOT 2 in the subject line. Interested bidders who require a printed hard copy of the Bidding document may obtain the document upon submission of a receipt showing payment of a non- refundable fee of USD 25 (USD Twenty-five) for publication and mailing costs. The method of payment will be direct payment to SCI Somalia Country office in Garowe, Somalia. Note: The bidding documents sent via email will not require payment of fees. 6.    Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 21 January 2022, 10:00 hrs. local time.  Electronic Bidding will not be permitted.
