Dansk Retursystem A/S (DRS) seeks Input from Potential Suppliers in a Market Dialogue Prior to an Invitation to Tender for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) for DRS’ Future Deposit stations
DRS seeks input on MHE solutions for DRS’ future deposit stations. Deposit stations are buildings where it is possible to return empty PET, ALU and glass returnables.
DRS’ current idea is that the potential tender for an MHE solution should include following parts:
— deposit interface (physical reception of returnables);
— separation and singulation (infeed buffer, separation and final singulation. Received bulk can contain waste that needs separation and removal);
— sorting (unit for sortation of PET, ALU, Rejects and glass).
Other parts might be considered as contractual options, with interfaces to the present MHE solution:
— aluminimum and PET Crusher (unit for crushing PET and ALU (separated));
— glass solution after sorting (handling of glass (crushed and not crushed));
— compactor (container) (standard unit for compacting PET and ALU).
DRS would like suppliers’ response to which parts they can deliver and which overall solutions they recommend.
DRS intends to carry out market research and engage in a dialogue with primarily potential future suppliers who operates in the field described above. DRS hopes to gain the knowledge from suppliers about products and market which is needed to enable DRS to prepare a tender dossier, which is adequate to the purpose and interesting for suppliers. Suppliers’ inputs can — if deemed relevant by DRS — be incorporated into a future final tender dossier, which all suppliers will have equal access to. DRS would like inputs from suppliers of dedicated system integrators but also of components.
For a more extensive description about the MHE, DRS' deposit stations and market dialogue please download the request for information guidelines and eight videos from DRS' deposit station on DRS' web-based procurement portal ‘EU-Supply’ please see link in section I.3) above.
