The Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) has a requirement to procure a replacement for its current fleet of deployable tactical shelters in order to address capability gaps identified during current operations and as a result of strategic mission analysis in the post-Afghanistan environment.

All the deliverables must be received within 12 months of contract award. 

This requirement includes the provision of product support services. 

Contract Duration: The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to March 31 2024 inclusive with irrevocable options to extend it for up to eight additional one-year periods.

This RFP requires bidders to use the Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation to transmit their offers electronically. Bidders must refer to Part 2 of the RFP entitled Bidder Instructions and Part 3 of the RFP entitled Bid Preparation Instructions, for further information on using this method.

The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods and services.
