Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: If 2+ bids offer Canadian goods/services other bids will not be considered Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Deployable Shelter System W6448-22C009/A Webster, Sean Telephone No. - (873) 354-9545 ( ) Fax No. - (613) 545-8067 ( ) The Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) has a requirement to procure a replacement for its current fleet of deployable tactical shelters in order to address capability gaps identified during current operations and as a result of strategic mission analysis in the post-Afghanistan environment. All the deliverables must be received within 12 months of contract award. This requirement includes the provision of product support services. Contract Duration: The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to March 31 2024 inclusive with irrevocable options to extend it for up to eight additional one-year periods. This RFP requires bidders to use the Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation to transmit their offers electronically. Bidders must refer to Part 2 of the RFP entitled Bidder Instructions and Part 3 of the RFP entitled Bid Preparation Instructions, for further information on using this method. The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods and services. There are security requirements associated with this requirement. For additional information, consult Part 5.2.2, Security Requirements - Required Documentation, and Part 6 - Resulting Contract Clauses. For more information on personnel and organization security screening or security clauses, Bidders should refer to the Contract Security Program of Public Works and Government Services Canada (http://www.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/esc-src/introduction-eng.html ) website.
