Early Childhood Development to Build Tajikistan’s Human Capital Project funded by the World Bank

Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan announces a competition for selection for the position:

International consultant to develop guidelines for the creation and operation of existing and alternative models of preschool education and for the review and revision of KG and ELC curricula, equipment and TLMs

The objective of this assignment is to MoES, MoF and PIG in revision of the preschool models’ operation in Tajikistan and leading the revision of the preschool programs package.

Qualification requirements

The Consultant should have an advanced degree in education, child psychology, or relevant fields

• At least 10 years of professional experience in the area of early childhood education and care (ECEC) with strong exposure to advanced theories and practices in ECEC.
• Strong international experience in reviewing and developing conceptual documents including on the preschool delivery system, curriculum, training programs and materials in ECEC; in addition, the development of regulatory documents in ECEC will be an advantage;
• Experience in similar assignments in CIS is an advantage
• Good command of English. Knowledge of the Russian language is an advantage.
