ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW Assignment Title: 1272364- Collecting phone survey data for a Socio-Economic Assessment (SEA) of refugees and host communities in Rwanda Assignment Countries:- Rwanda ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION The World Bank is seeking a firm to carry out three rounds of a phone survey to contribute to analysis of the socioeconomic conditions of refugees and host communities in Rwanda. The survey instrument will collect data on the living standards, knowledge and behavior in the face of COVID-19, impacts of COVID-19 on different dimensions of welfare, and relationships between refugees and host communities. The consulting firm will work closely with the World Bank team under the general supervision of the National Institute of Statistics Rwanda (NISR), and will have responsibility to deliver survey implementation, including, inter alia: identifying and training enumerators and supervisors; pilot testing the survey methodology using the agreed upon data collection technology; and ensuring quality control through effective arrangements for field supervision and data collection and household follow-ups. Deliverables will include clean and formatted survey data, a data codebook in English, and written reports. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals).
