United Nations Office at Nairobi (hereinafter refered to as UNON) on behalf of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT) Programme is seeking to establish Contract with a qualified contractor(s) towards the Implementation of e-mobility system for development & deployment of electric vehicles
The scope of works consists of city level demonstrations in selected cities around the world to test different types of innovative and integrated e-mobility solutions, demonstration on the development and deployment of electric vehicles. This may include prototypes and small fleets, test operations, services and/or the provision of specific components to support the demonstration activities promoted in these cities, Solutions for complementary measures , including charging, battery management, sharing, operations, vehicle conversion, integration, and fleet management. Each city has its own unique urban and environmental context, requiring place-specific e-mobility solutions. This REOI is for:
• Kigali (Rwanda): The assembly of electric 2-wheelers, combined with the implementation of an innovative bike-sharing system or battery swapping technology..
Additional details, specifications, and terms of reference shall be provided in the tender document to be issued subsequent to this EOI. UNON invites companies to express their interest by filling out the vendor response form and sending it either electronically or via email
Interested vendors may forward their Expressions of Interest (EOI) along with the signed vendor forms.
All EOI submissions should be sent via email, citing the EOI reference number and title in the subject line.

Please note that this REOI is not an invitation for submission of tenders. Its purpose is to identify eligible vendors that would be interested to participate in the related upcoming requirement.
The complete detail of the requirement will be issued to bidders after this request for EOI is closed. UNON reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement of this EOI at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Submitting a reply to this REOI does not therefore automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for issuance of the solicitation documents. Only vendors who, in the UN's sole discretion, are deemed eligible and qualified, upon completion of an objective evaluation of the EOI submissions, may receive the final tender solicitation documents.
