The Irish Defence Forces Corps of Engineers requires generator sets suitable for expeditionary deployments as part of self-sustaining military camp infrastructure
The Irish Defence Forces Corps of Engineers requires generator sets suitable for expeditionary deployments as part of self-sustaining military camp infrastructure that will provide a power generation facility to a 600 person camp where no power grid or pre-existing electrical infrastructure is in place. The generators (and associated equipment) will be required to meet a variety of standards as laid down by the Defence Forces Corps of Engineers. The generator sets required must be able to withstand the rigours of active military service and varied climatic conditions typically expected by the Defence Forces in an overseas theatre of military operations.
This specification covers the five (5) no. 500kVa Generator Sets and all ancillary equipment and will include the supply, delivery to site, testing, commissioning, training and maintenance of the systems for a period of a minimum of 12 months after commissioning.
