The purpose of this amendment is to change the Request For Quote date and time from February 2, 2021 at 12:00pm (EST) to February 4, 2021 at 12:00pm (EST). Responses to the questions and tax information attachments have been provided.

All other terms and conditions remain the same.

The United States Marshals Service (USMS) has a need for Sex Offender Investigation Branch (SOIB) training under the Adam Walsh Child Protection & Safety Act. The class will consist of forty-two (42) State and Local law enforcement officers from around the country. The training will take place Monday, July 19, 2021 through Thursday, July 22, 2021.  The training location site is the United States Courthouse for the Southern District of California located at 333 W. Broadway, San Diego, California 92101.

Contractor shall provide 4 nights lodging forty-two (42 rooms) for the United States Marshals Service for the period of July 19-22, 2021.  This is a competitive quotation for lodging located only in the downtown area of San Diego. Lodging must be located within a half mile of the United States Courthouse for the Southern District of California located at 333 W. Broadway, San Diego, California 92101.

The contractor shall provide all accommodations, personnel, supervision, and other items necessary to provide contracted services for the 4 nights requested above.  The anticipated award will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract.  Award will be made to a single offeror.

In accordance with FAR 12.603(c)(2), the following is provided:


(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item/services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.


(ii) The solicitation number is 15M10321Q4700007 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ).


(iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-94.


(iv) This required is UNRESTRICTED. NAICS code is 721110 with a size standard $30,000,000.00.


(v) Offerors shall provide their quote on the attached SF1449.


(vi) The contractor shall supply all personnel, labor, material and equipment to support this requirement. Additional information pertaining to this requirement are in the attached to this notice.


(vii) The period of performance for the resultant contract is anticipated to be July 19, 2022 – July 22, [HG(1] 2021.


(viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition.


(ix) In accordance with FAR 13.106-2, the Government will perform an evaluation using a comparative evaluation to determine an award. Award will be made to the responsive, responsible offeror that offers the most competitive price for this requirement. Multiple awards will not result from this solicitation.


(x) Offerors shall be registered at SAM.Gov in order to be eligible for award.


(xi) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.


(xii) A statement that the clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. See SF1449 for additional clauses that pertain to this requirement.


(xiii) Exceptions. Any exceptions to this Request for Quote or the Statement of Work will not be accepted by the U.S. Marshals Service.

(xiv) Not used.

(xv) Quotes are due no later than February 2, 2021 at 12:00pm (EST) and shall be emailed to [email protected]

(xvi) No telephone calls will be accepted. All questions concerning the solicitation must be submitted in writing. Written inquires will be answered in writing via amendment, however, because of the response time, no such inquiries will be considered if received after 12:00pm (EST) on February 1, 2021. All questions shall be submitted to [email protected]

Answers to questions will be provided to all offerors being solicited.

This solicitation is being issued in electronic format only. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available and telephonic, written, or fax requests will not be accepted.
