Overview :

UNCDF is looking for a research firm to conduct research regarding digital financial services for the MM4P programme in Zambia.

The research adresses the questions below: 

  1. What benefits do customers derive from the use of digital financial services and how does it impact their lives (positive and negative)?
  2. How do digital financial services contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals?

The findings must be disaggregated by:

  • User profile (urban/rural, gender, income-level)
  • Types of digital financial services

The proposed methodology may have a quantitative, qualitative or mixed-method approach and may draw on new data collected from customers, analysis of existing data sets, transactional data, etc.

The expected results is to identify and test alternative, cost-effective and time-efficient methods of measuring impact of DFS on customers.
