This invitation for tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this project which was published on the EBRD website, Procurement Notices (www.ebrd.com) on 17.8.2018.

The Office National de l’Electricite et de l’Eau Potable, hereinafter referred to as “the Employer”, intends using part of the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of ONEE Water Supply Project.

The purchaser now invites sealed tenders from Contractors for the following contract to be funded from part of the proceeds of the loan: Rehabilitation of the Drinking Water Works of the City of Drarga.

Tendering for contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank is open to firms from any country. The proceeds of the Bank's loan will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, of for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.

To be qualified for the award of a contract, tenderers must satisfy the following minimum criteria:

— the tenderer must have an average annual turnover of at least 6 250 000,00 MAD excluding tax (Six Million Two hundred and Twenty-Five thousand Moroccan Dirhams), which is the total of effected payments received for on-going and/or completed contracts during the last three (03) years (2015-2016-2017),

— experience as principal Contractor in the context of at least two (2) contracts of similar work type and nature in the past five (05) years that include:

—— realization of the works of installation of drinkable water main under pressure of diameter equal to or higher than 75 mm and a minimum linear of 5 km.

All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of Sixty thousand Moroccan Dirhams (60 000,00 MAD). This should be consistent with paragraph 17.1 of the instructions to tenderers or its equivalent in a convertible currency.

A project site visit is scheduled for 14.1.2019 at 10 hours (local time) at the Centre of ONEE-Branche Eau at Drarga. It is highly recommended for perspective tenderers to attend the site visit.

Tenders must be delivered to the office at the address below on or before Monday 18.2.2019 at 09:00 min (local time), at which time they will be opened in the presence of tenderers representatives who choose to attend.
