Classification and reclassification of patent documents and of technical/scientific literature.
Please note that this is a tender for framework agreements with several contractors. The EPO intends to conclude framework agreements with 3 to 6 contractors for Lot 1 (Classification) and with 3 to 6 contractors for Lot 2 (Reclassification) provided that sufficient bidders are eligible for the award of a framework agreement.
Lot 1 — Classification
At Contractor's premises, unless otherwise stated in the individual Work Package Order(s) placed under the framework agreements.
Classification of patent documents and of technical/scientific literature.
The duration of the framework agreements is 3 years from the commencement date stated in them with 2 optional extensions of 1 year each at the EPO’s discretion.
Proposals for variants, the effect of which would be to reduce significantly the rights and safeguards of the EPO, are not allowed.
Lot 2 — Reclassification
At Contractor's premises, unless otherwise stated in the individual Work Package Order(s) placed under the framework agreements.

If several bidders submit a joint bid, they must be jointly and severally liable for the performance of the obligations under the contract. A declaration to this effect, duly signed by all members of the grouping and appointing a representative authorised to act on behalf of all members, must be submitted with the bid.
