The contract must cover the municipality's need for grocery deliveries to the service locations that order food in small packages (consumer packages). The contract primarily applies to Vestre Toten's municipal nursery schools, wraparound care, primary and lower secondary schools. This contract will not apply to the municipality's institutional households. Some entities have existing agreements within the product groups dairy products and fruit / vegetables. Purchases that are part of the teaching are exempt from the contract. Other businesses must be able to join the contract if desired.

The objective of the tender contest is to cover the need for the following:

- Coverage of demand for groceries in consumer packaging

- Food articles that are safe in relation to health

- Food articles that are safe in relation to the consumers requirements

The total estimated framework agreement value is NOK 1 500 000 per annum. The stipulated total contract value including an for extension is approx. NOK 6 million. The amounts are to be considered as a guideline and are including VAT. This amount does not carry any obligations for the contracting authority or rights for the tenderer. Reservations are made for possible changes due to county or municipal mergers.
