Book and DVD Design
Nasjonalbiblioteket (the National Library of Norway) is one of the country's largest and most important cultural institutions, and is one of the foremost sources of knowledge about Norway and Norwegian conditions. Rooted in the Legal Deposit Act, we collect and preserve what is published in Norway within all types of media, such as books, periodicals, newspapers, music, film, photo, in broadcasting and on the internet. By virtue of the collection and by making it available via digital services, the National Library of Norway forms the basis for documentation, research and learning, and contributes to creating identity and belonging.
The National Library of Norway will contribute to further development of Norwegian libraries such as active and actual soil institutions, and aims to be one of Europe's most exciting and modern national libraries.
We have 535 employees in Oslo and Mo i Rana, and a budget of NOK 680 million.
The National Library of Norway has a need for design of books, professional publications, DVDs and small print for a general and professional public. The tenderer must have the ability to be creative within specific limits.
The National Library of Norway announces that the stated number associated with book and DVD publications is only an estimate and is non binding for the contract period.
Equipment etc. It is a requirement that the engaged party has their own equipment, and utilises their own machines, software etc.
