The procurement is carried out as a procurement without a contest as the Department of Forensic Medicine will procure a MS-QTOF module to replace defect modules in the existing 6550 LCMS QTOF.

The new QTOF will be connected to and must be compatible with the existing UHPLC, original control PC as well as all of the existing analysis methods, substance database and library (PCDL).

This is based on Matriks AS being the only supplier who, for the above-named/attached reasons can deliver in accordance with the requirements.

The terms in the PPR § 13-4 (2) are considered to be fulfilled.

If any other instruments fulfil our functional requirement described in Appendix 2.3, form for responding to requirements, this must be notified to the project manager within 10 days after the announcement is published.

As the procurement concerns replacement of MS-QTOF modules in the existing 6550 LCMS QTOF, this is based on Matriks AS being the only supplier who for technical reasons, can deliver.

If there are other instruments that cover the need, this must be conveyed to the project manager within ten days after the published notice.
