Avinor Flysikring AS provides air traffic controller and flight navigation services via a system portfolio of approx. 65 systems within communication, navigation, and monitoring purposes. These systems include everything from ordinary IT systems to OT systems (Operational Technology). Several of the systems are real time systems where IT components are combined with OT components, typical sensors for data collection, and radio senders or receivers. Other systems are specialised OT systems designed and run for a specific purpose. Avinor ANS has started a project called 'SHP, Security Project', with the aim of upgrading and strengthening the security barriers for this infrastructure.
