The aim of the procurement is to increase interest for Porsgrunn as an attractive tourist destination - locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally. It is important for the municipality to secure existing jobs and establish new jobs within tourism and the guest industry in the municipality. The result of this procurement will contribute to this goal. In addition the procurement will contribute to increased value creation in the industry by securing a good and innovative profiling of Porsgrunn and the region as a tourist destination.
