Hospitaldrift Vaskeri would like to expand the existing production line for drying and the accompanying folding work uniforms in order to increase the capacity of this line. I.e., a change to the existing software in order to adapt to an expansion of the trans line and so that the hanging stations can deliver clothing on hangers to the correct folding machine. The current production line for drying clothing on hangers, with the accompanying trans line and folding machine was designed, produced, and delivered by Kannegiesser, whose sub-supplier in Norway is Jako AS. Further information is in point 11.2.4.

Pursuant to the public procurement regulations, section 13-4 first paragraph letter b) no. 3, the contract is exempted from being announced.

It is not possible to give this assignment to other suppliers as this would compromise a supplier's equipment and the accompanying software. The expansion we will now have requires a direct improvement of existing software and the accompanying hardware. The contract also includes service of the equipment, in addition to service of existing equipment delivered by Jako AS.
