The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) is seeking for potential bidder(s) for freight forwarding and inland transportation services within Afghanistan on "as and when required basis". UNAMA requires truck rental services to transport cargo between its offices within Afghanistan. The bidder must have the low bed trailers, cargo trucks, crane trucks (a self-loading vehicle and container trailer trucks to perform the required services. Cargo normally consist of loose cargo, containerized cargo of 20 feet containers, 40 feet sea containers of engineering equipment and materials, general supplies, armored vehicles, spare parts, generator sets, lubricants, construction and building materials, etc. The selected bidder shall provide reliable and suitable vehicles to perform the required transportation services. UNAMA reserve the rights to inspect all trucks/vehicles prior to performance of the services. More details will be shared in the tender document only to the invited bidders.
