UN Women aims to identify a research consortium to expand the global and regional knowledge on gender equality and preventing violent extremism, through the research project Gender Equality and Violent Extremism in North Africa: A Research Agenda. One key output of the project will be a high-quality research report. The objectives of the research project are outlined in this Call for Proposals, as guidance for the technical and financial proposal. The consortium should consist of a leading global research institute on women, peace and security, and a leading regional research institute in the Arab States region.
