  Uganda National Roads Authority                         SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE   COUNTRY: UGANDA   PROJECT: Upgrading of Tirinyi-Pallisa-Kumi/Pallisa-Kamonkoli Roads   PROCUREMENT OF GOODS   Mode of Financing:   Shari’ah Financing   Financing Code: UGA0092   Contract Title: Supply and delivery of Road Maintenance equipment   ICB Reference No. UNRA/SUPLS/20-21/00102   The Republic of Uganda has obtained financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) toward the cost of Upgrading Tirinyi-Pallisa-Kumi/Pallisa-Kamonkoli Roads and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply and Delivery of Road Maintenance Equipment.   The Uganda National Roads Authority now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply and delivery of Road Maintenance Equipment below:-   Line Item N ° Description of Goods Quantity     Item  1 Bull Dozer 1   Item 2 Self-propelled Single Drum Rollers 3   Item  3 Motor Graders 5   Item  4 Low Bed Truck 1   Item  5 Self-Loader Truck 1   Item  6 Track Loader 2         Bidders may bid for one or several line items (Each of which will constitute a separate contract) as further defined in the bidding document.  Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid.   Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures as specified in IsDB’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and related services under Islamic Development Bank Project Financing April 2019  (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.18-21 setting forth IsDB’s policy on conflict of interest.   Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents from the address in 9 below during office hours (0900 to 1600 hours (from Monday to Fridays)   A complete set of bidding documents in English can be obtained by bidders upon submission of a written application to [email protected]     Bids must be delivered to the address in (9) below on or before 1100 hours, East African Standard Time on    14 th October 2021. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
