Purpose of Assignment:

1. Supply and installation of nine (9) automated sliding doors (with breakout emergency exit features) and link the new installations to the existing card reader security access control system. (6) at the UN House premises in Longacres, Lusaka and (3) at the UN Annex premises in Rhodespark.

Scope of Works:

The scope of work shall include the following:                

1. Remove existing doors and frames as well as all accessories and keep them in a good condition for hand over to the Client’s construction & maintenance department.
2. Supply and installation of single parting automated sliding doors as per the BOQ in the annex attached. All the door installation packages shall also include breakout emergency exit features.
3. Link the newly installed automated sliding doors to the existing card reader security access control system.
4. Reinstatement of the existing walls, floor, ceiling and building areas which will be affected by the door removal and installations to their initial state or better as accepted by the Client’s representative.
