Tenders are invited for slope stabilisation and remediation works on a section of the Jenolan Caves Road (State Road MR253) approximately 30 km south east of Oberon referred to as Slope 17550.
The scope of work includes vegetation clearing, removal and installation of safety barrier, salvaging and storing the timber posts which are of heritage significance, stabilisation of the heritage listed dry stone wall slope using rock nails and structural shotcrete with a sculpted and tinted ‘mock rock’ finish, subsurface drainage, kerbing, removal of existing light poles and power supply, construction of a new services trench with conduits for Telstra, culvert works, removal and replacement of the existing rock fall fences on the up-hill side of the road, traffic management, erosion and sedimentation management to prevent contamination of the Blue Lake, environmental management including protection of heritage listed item, noise and vibration monitoring and Work-As-Executed drawings.
The works are located at slope 17550 on Jenolan Caves Road.
A web based mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held at 1pm on 18 January 2022. Dial in details will be provided to confirmed attendees.

Site inspection is mandatory. Tenderers are required to contact TfNSW Project Manager Neil Morgan on [email protected] to organise a site inspection.
