We are seeking a suitably experienced Supplier who has current experience of working within the dynamic environment, ideally with a strong operational base within the West Midlands, thus allowing for both adequate contract support and operational flexibility that is to be delivered to support the contract as and when needed moving forwards into this contract term.

The successful Supplier will be required to provide cleaning services for Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College.
The contract will commence on 1st November 2021 for the period of three years with the option to a contract extension of a further two years.
This contract will be fixed price in nature with the successful Supplier also guaranteeing the number of input hours to the contract as well as the quality of cleaning provision.
You will need to factor into your submissions for years two and three any projected increases for NMLW and also any increases that you anticipate for other contract costs.

The management of the on-site team will be central in ensuring that the standards of cleanliness improve on an ongoing basis and that both innovation and flexibility is delivered within this contract term to Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College.
The scope of the contract covers all cleaning at Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College within the three current buildings. However please note that during the course of this contract an additional one or two building may be added to the college and the successful contractor should cost this additional cleaning requirement using the same productivity ratios as were applied for the successful tender.
The successful Supplier will be expected to deliver a concise and detailed method of management reporting at the end of each month, thus updating the senior management team within Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College on the contract performance and the achievement of the contract specification in all areas.
The current value of the contract is approximately £180,000.00 plus VAT per annum. Currently there is additional resource being deployed within the contract due to COVID-19 being charged at additional cost. It might be that some of this additional cleaning provision will remain moving into the new contract term but this will however be noted and made clear within the tender specification.
