This was a first step of many to establishing a national talent pool, a phase in the development of the NPI that it is already committed to build upon.  In the last 2 years, with the support of the World Bank, the NPI has been working with global public procurement specialists to develop the strategic plan for professionalization of procurement cadres and build a world-class certificated training program.
