DESCRIPTION

CanmetENERGY Research Centre in Varennes, QC is seeking to procure a ruggedized and air cargo transportable 90 kW continuous average load (180 kW peak) battery system capable of being integrated with a diesel generator and solar photovoltaics (hybrid microgrid system).

SECURITY REQUIREMENT

Suppiers who intend to bid on this solicitation but who do not meet the minimum security requirements are invited to request security sponsorship in order to be registered and screened by Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC)s Contract Security Program. Requests to be sponsored for the required security clearences must be submitted by email to the Contracting Authority.

**COVID-19 VACCINATION REQUIREMENT**

This requirement is subject to the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Supplier Personnel. Failure to complete and provide the COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement Certification as part of the bid will render the bid non-responsive.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RELATED TO BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, bids must be submitted by fax to the number indicated in the bid solicitation or electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

Hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject bid solicitation.

DEBRIEFING

Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days from receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process.

The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
