Overview :

Dear Sir/Madam,

You are invited to submit Proposals for the Call for selecting Mining asociations, Civil Society Organization, Community groups, training institutions  and cooperatives working in the Development Minerals sector to participate in a Small Grants Programme  to strengthen the resilience of Artisanal and Small-Scale Mining Projects to during and post Covid 19 pandemic in Zambia.

Please be guided by the form labelled ‘’Grant Proposal Application form’’ attached hereto as Annex 1 for the preparation of your Proposal, which should be made up of filled application materials sent electronically : in PDF (signed and stamped) and word formats to the following e-mail address [email protected]. The subject line should read: “Small Grants for Artisanal and Small-Scale Mining Projects In Development Minerals 2021 | [Insert Name of your organization]”.

The proposals should focus on the following;

  1. Supporting business continuity for the Artisanal and Small Scale Mining Enterprises
  2. Supporting Formalisation of the Artisanal and Small Scale Mining sector
  3. Enhancing Occupational Health and Safety at workplace, home and community levels along the Development Minerals value chain

Deadline for submission of grant proposals is 13th August, 2021. It should be noted that it is your responsibility to ensure the timely submission of your full Proposal to the indicated email address on or before the deadline. Proposals that are received after the deadline, for whatever reason, shall not be considered for evaluation.

An information meeting will be held via Zoom for interested applicants
