The Project Development Objective (PDO) is to contribute to improving the management and governance in the mining sector at the subn ational level in Select Provinces in the Member Country’s territory through a collaborative social accountability mechanism.The ach ievement of the Objective will be supported by the following work components:Component 1. Capacity-building for collaborative soci al accountabilityComponent 2. Implementing collaborative social accountability mechanismsComponent 3. Improving knowledge learning and sharing on social accountability in the mining sector at the provincial levelComponent 4. Project management and implementatio n unit supportProgress in achieving the PDO will be measured by the following key result indicators:(a)Percentage of problems i n the licensing systems identified and followed up through the project’s Multi Stakeholders Forums (MSFs). (b)Percentage of proble ms in revenue management identified and followed up through the project’s MSFs.
