Bidders may bid for one or several contracts, as further defined in the bidding document.   Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing.   The Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry (MCTI) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders registered with National Council for Construction in category B-Grade 1 or 2 for the Tender for Proposed Construction of Zambia Bureau of Standards (ZABS) Regional Laboratory at National Institute for Scientific and Industrial Research (NISIR) in Lusaka.     S/N Description 1 General Site Works and Earthworks 2 Construction to completion of Double Storey Laboratory Building 3 External Works Generally, Fencing, Driveways, Parking, Walkways and 4 Associated Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing and Drainage Installations   Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procuremen t Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July, 2016 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.   Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry (MCTI)- Procurement and Supplies Unit, P.O Box 31968, Lusaka, Zambia.
