The Financial and Contract Management Unit (FCMU-WB/AFD) Ministry of Energy and Water (MINEA) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Engineering Design and Construction of the expansion and rehabilitation of the existing Mucari bulk water supply system of the city of N’dalatando. The Design and Build contract consists of the following phases and durations: Design phase of 4.5 months (4 months for design and 15 days for Client’s comments); Construction phase of 15 months; followed by Defects liability period (DLP) of 12 months.   Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s  “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing"  dated July 2016 and revised in November 2017 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
