ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW Assignment Title: 1278489- DARE: Policy Linking Toolkit to the National Assessment Test (NAT) of Pakistan Assignment Countries:- Pakistan ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION Through the United Kingdoms Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO)s DARE program, FCDO and the World Bank are collaborating to provide technical support to Pakistans Federal Government to strengthen education data infrastructure and coordination mechanisms between the federal and provincial governments, enhance evidence-based decision making, improve the targeting of programs to reduce inequality- including gender-gaps, and allow for better reporting on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular SDG 4. The Policy Linking Toolkit, developed by USAID and supported by the World Bank, UNESCOs UIS, FCDO, and the Australian Council for Education Research (ACER), will be applied in Pakistan with the support of the World Bank, USAID and FCDO. The results of this application are expected to build Pakistan's capacity to set and implement sound education standards that are internally comparable overtime while allowing for global use, including SDG reporting. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications. Interested firms are hereby invited to submit expressions of interest. Expressions of Interest should be submitted, in English, electronically through World Bank Group eConsultant2 (https://wbgeconsult2.worldbank.org/wbgec/index.html) NOTES Following this invitation for Expression of Interest, a shortlist of qualified firms will be formally invited to submit proposals. Shortlisting and selection will be subject to the availability of funding. Only those firms which have been shortlisted will receive notification.
