ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW Assignment Title: 1278489- DARE: Policy Linking Toolkit to the National Assessment Test (NAT) of Pakistan Assignment Countries:- Pakistan ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION Through the United Kingdoms Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO)s DARE program, FCDO and the World Bank are collaborating to provide technical support to Pakistans Federal Government to strengthen education data infrastructure and coordination mechanisms between the federal and provincial governments, enhance evidence-based decision making, improve the targeting of programs to reduce inequality- including gender-gaps, and allow for better reporting on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular SDG 4. The Policy Linking Toolkit, developed by USAID and supported by the World Bank, UNESCOs UIS, FCDO, and the Australian Council for Education Research (ACER), will be applied in Pakistan with the support of the World Bank, USAID and FCDO. The results of this application are expected to build Pakistan's capacity to set and implement sound education standards that are internally comparable overtime while allowing for global use, including SDG reporting.
