Learning Management System for the City of Reykjavík
Reykjavík Procurement Office (RPO hereafter), on behalf of the IT Department of the Department of Service and Innovation (the Buyer hereafter), welcomes tenders for a Learning Management System (LMS), hereafter called the System; a software solution that facilitates authoring e-learning courses and enabling general users to sign up for and complete e-learning, webinar, and onsite course modules and series in the most straightforward manner. The System has powerful access management capabilities, statistics and reporting functionalities. The System has an API for various data integration. The Buyer is looking for a Seller or service provider as a partner in developing work procedures for the Buyer’s projects concerning employee learning/training and its supervision. The aim is to award the contract to a Tenderer with experience and working knowledge of best practice in the dissemination of training content, and a clear vision for the development of work procedures and relevant software solutions. Service and effective communication regarding best practices and the System are paramount, from the Buyer’s perspective. The System must increase the efficiency and quality of the Buyer’s employee learning initiatives.
