•Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) will deploy eCMS in 2nd quarter FY18

•eCMS is a web-based, enterprise project collaboration tool to:
-Improve post-award document management (e.g. schedules, RFIs, designs, submittals)
-Allow collaboration via web-site (e.g. web browser, internet service, and digital authentication)
-Increase speed and storage (e.g. hosted in the "cloud")
-Leverage commercial-off-the shelf (COTS) software (e.g. best practices)
-Provide other browser-based tools (e.g. scheduling tool for 3-week look ahead)

•eCMS is intended for Government and Contractor users associated with the project
-Use eCMS in lieu of e-mailing documents
-Reduce number of "hard" copies (i.e. paper media) -Provided at no cost to the contractor or other users

•NAVFAC needs Contractors to use eCMS to improve project communication
-The project's Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) is the focal point for access to eCMS
-Basic training videos and references are available at https://navfac.navy.mil (search for "eCMS")
-Live training also available every Wednesday at 12 p.m. EST
