The Norwegian Correctional Services shall announce a framework agreement for lock systems (lock cases, cylinders and keys) in the autumn. Information is, thus, wanted from the market on what equipment and levels of security are available. The locks shall cover the Norwegian Correctional Service's ongoing need for replacements, as well as for new buildings. A decision has been made in the revised national budget for 2017 to build a new prison with a high security level in Agder, with a department in Mandal for 100 places (gross area approx. 11 000 m2, divided between 6 buildings) and one in Froland with 200 places (gross area approx. 19 000 m2, divided between 6 buildings).
