Forsvarets logistikkorganisasjon (FLO) [the Norwegian Defence Logistics Organisation] is preparing a tender contest for forwarding agent and transport services outside of Norway’s borders. The contest will cover large parts of the defence sector’s need for transport of goods abroad where the Armed Forces do not carry out the transport themselves.

The goods to be transported will include everything from civilian and upgraded material to defence materiel and in some instances classified materiel. Typical examples will be transport on purchase of defence materiel from the defence industry in USA and Europe, transport related to maintenance of defence materiel, as well as supply related to military exercises and operations.

To design a tender documentation that is as much as possible in line with what the market can offer, we want to consult with the market as early as possible in the process. For more information, see the attached document.
