Overview : UNDP Vietnam is seeking for 01 qualified Vietnamese firm/institute/organization for the Development and digitalization of circulars/handbook on management and implementation of the National Target Program for Social and Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas during Period 2021 – 2030 (NTP-SEDEMA) (Ref. 2-220204) The objectives of this assignment: Thanks to timely and effective technical support from UNDP-GREAT/DFAT-CEMA project on “Accelerating Socio-economic Development and Multi-Dimensional Poverty Reduction among Ethnic Minorities in Viet Nam, Phase I” (SEDEMA), the Government of Viet Nam has approved the Decision No. 1719 on approval of the National Target Program for Social and Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas during Period 2021 – 2030 (NTP-SEDEMA). The NTPSEDEMA is aimed at gradually narrowing the gap in living standards and income of ethnic minority and mountainous communities compared to national averages, targeting to reduce the number of particularly disadvantaged communes and villages by 50% by 2025 and to fundamentally have none of such communes and villages by 2030. Particularly, the NTPSEDEMA has included and applied the innovative solutions and mechanisms which were successfully tested by various development partners (i.e., GREAT/DFAT, UNDP, CARE, Oxfam, etc.) and localities. To improve program management, UNDP and GREAT/DFAT through the SEDEMA in 2021 has supported CEMA to develop an information management system leveraging digital technology. The system allows for efficient and timely direction, monitoring & evaluation and reporting of NTP-SEDEMA. Important notes for Bidders:
