Overview :

The objective of this assignment is to conduct a copper downstream value chain analysis for the preliminary value chain enterprise potential that could be developed utilizing the available copper in Zambia. This assignment will focus on assessing potential the copper downstream value chain industries that can be developed. In particular, the value chain analysis should provide evidence-based information on the status and viability of downstream copper value chains and determine which of them hold the most promising opportunities for economic growth and poverty reduction leading to pro-poor growth. In this regard, emphasis is also placed on analyzing the linkages of the downstream copper value chains to other industries such as infrastructure, energy and related industries.
