Overview : UNDP Vietnam is seeking for 01 qualified Vietnamese firm/institute/organization to support Danang City Lab in Vietnam (Ref. 2-210901) The objectives of this assignment: Danang is a class-1 municipality and the fifth largest city in Vietnam in terms of population (with over 1.1 million people). Located on the coast of Viet Nam and the mouth of the Han River, it is one of Viet Nam's most important port cities. Danang is one of the five direct-controlled municipalities and is under the direct administration of the central government. The City has a higher urbanization ratio than any of Vietnam's other provinces or centrally governed cities. It is also one of the most beautiful coastal cities of Vietnam and has abundant potential for tourism. The UNDP Accelerator Labs were created to re-imagine development for the 21st century – and do so at an unprecedented scale by tapping into the relationships, resources, and the expertise of UNDP and its partners. In 2019, UNDP Viet Nam and the Da Nang’s People Committee signed an MOU for a joint learning experience, of which a core part is considered to formulate a City Lab in Da Nang. As the City Lab Task Force was established, night-time economy was chosen as the first topic of exploration. The objective of this assignment is to help the CityLab Task force design, coordinate and implement the art, music, food and circular economy components of the experiment.
