ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW Assignment Title: 1278501- DARE: Technical Assistance to Strengthen the Academy for Education Planning and Developments (AEPAM) technical processes Assignment Countries:- Pakistan ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION Through the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO)s Data Accountability & Research in Education (DARE) program, FCDO and the World Bank are collaborating to provide technical support to the federal and provincial governments, to strengthen education data infrastructure and coordination mechanisms between the federal and provincial governments, enhance evidence-based decision making, and improve targeting of programs to reduce inequality and gender-gaps. As the institution responsible for providing the federal government information to inform education policy and service delivery, AEPAM is required to have strong data collection, analysis and reporting capabilities. At this time however, the organization does not have the human resource and skill sets to deliver this requirement and often depends on development partners to provide this support. AEPAM has identified some immediate areas for support to help it deliver its functions effectively. See TORs attached. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals).
