Project Implementation Unit, on behalf of State Unitary Enterprise “Toshkent issiqlik markazi”, Tashkent (Employer), now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for “Modernization of boiler plant in Tashkent (TC-8)”. The Contracts are implemented on the territory of Tashkent City of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The number and identification of lots (contracts) comprising this procurement package is 1 (one). This procurement package includes the reconstruction of two existing boilers with the capacity of 116 MW and the installation of one new boiler unit with the capacity of 30 MW in accordance with the Works’ Requirements. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive bidding as specified in the World Bank’s “Guidelines for Procurement of Goods, Works, and Non-Consulting Services by World Bank Borrowers on IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and Grants”, January 2011, (hereafter “Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.
