    SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE     UGANDA NATIONAL ROADS AUTHORITY   KABALE-BUNYONYI AND KISORO-MGAHINGA ROAD UPGRADING PROJECT   PROCUREMENT REF: UNRA/SPLS/2020-21/00033   SUBJECT OF PROCUREMENT: PROCUREMENT OF FERRIES, SEARCH AND RESCUE BOATS AND FERRY MAINTENANCE EQUIPMENT FOR LAKE BUNYONYI.   This invitation for the Bid (IFB) follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) published in UN Development Business online and the Website of the African Development Bank on 9 th December 2020 and in the Daily Monitor Newspapers on 8 th December 2020.   The Government of Uganda has received financing from the African Development Fund hereinafter called the Bank towards the cost of Kabale-Bunyonyi and Kisoro-Mgahinga Road Upgrading Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of Merchant vessels (Ferries), Search and Rescue Boats and Ferry Maintenance Equipment for Lake Bunyonyi.   Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) now invites sealed Bids from bidders for Procurement of Merchant vessels (Ferries), Search and Rescue Boats and Ferry Maintenance Equipment for Lake Bunyonyi   Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding (International), (OCBI) method as specified in the Bank’s Procurement Framework October 2015 and is open to all bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework.   Interested bidders may obtain further information from the address given below and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. during working days from Monday to Friday at the address given below.   The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon submission of a written application to the email address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 200,000 (Uganda Shillings Two Hundred Thousand only). The method of payment will be by registration of the payment on the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) website portal. Print the payment advice Form after registering on the URA Portal and effect payment through the URA collection Banks.   Bids must be delivered to the Procurement and Disposal Unit Registry at the address below on or before Friday, October 8, 2021 at 10.00am accompanied with a Bid Security of USD 210,000 (United States Dollars Two Hundred and ten Thousand) at the time of bid submission.
