The Republic of Belarus has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Belarus Higher Education Modernization Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for “Supply of laboratory equipment for Educational Establishment " Brest state technical university " (including installation and setup)”.   2. The Scientific and Methodological Institution “The National Institute of Education” of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of laboratory equipment: Lot 1: "Supply of laboratory equipment for the laboratory of materials science, mechanics of materials and mechanical processing of machine parts and mechanisms (including installation and setup)" Lot 2: "Supply of laboratory equipment for the laboratory of artificial intelligence and industrial robotics (including installation and setup)" The maximum period of delivery of equipment, including installation and setup, is 180 days. A margin of domestic preference shall not apply.   3. Bidders may Bid for one or several contracts, as further defined in the request for bids document. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid.   4. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” (Fourth Edition. November 2020) (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.   5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Scientific and Methodological Institution “The National Institute of Education” of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and inspect the bidding document during office hours 09:00 to 17:00 at the address given below.   6. The interested eligible Bidders may request a hard copy of the complete set of Bidding documents in Russian through submission of a written application to e-mail: [email protected]. A hard copy of the complete set of bidding documents in Russian can be obtained by interested eligible Bidders at Scientific and Methodological Institution "National Institute of Education" of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus at the address below or by regular mail. A bidder at his own expense pays all the costs associated with the delivery.    7.      Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12:00 noon on 7 September, 2021. Bidders shall not have the option of submitting their Bids electronically. Late Bids will be rejected.
