Specific Procurement Notice Request for Bids Goods (One-Envelope Bidding Process)   Country: Republic of Uzbekistan Name of Project: District Heating Energy Efficiency Project Contract Title: Installation of individual heat substations with heat metering devices in Chirchik Loan No./Credit No./ Grant No.: IDA Credit No.6173-UZ RFB Reference No.: ICB-DH-04-CHIE   The Government of Uzbekistan has received a loan from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of the project “District Heating Energy Efficiency Project” and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for Installation of individual heat substations with heat metering devices in Chirchik. Project Implementation Unit of WB, on behalf of Production Enterprise Chirchik “Issiqlik Energiyasi”, Chirchik (Purchaser), now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for “Installation of individual heat substations with heat metering devices in Chirchik”, 184 units. The Contracts are implemented on the territory of Chirchik City of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This Contract includes the installation of prefabricated individual heat substations in apartment and public buildings in accordance with the Schedule of Requirements. The margin of preference is applicable. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive bidding as specified in the World Bank’s “Guidelines for Procurement of Goods, Works, and Non-Consulting Services by World Bank Borrowers on IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and Grants”, January 2011, (hereafter “Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.
