  Invitation for Bids Date: 28 December 2020 Loan No. and Title: 3634/3635-VIE: Basic Infrastructure for Inclusive Growth in the North Central Provinces Sector Project Contract No. and Title: QT06: Construction of Inundation prevention system of Thuan-Trach – TrungTai, Ba Que, Vinh- Duong-Thanh communes in Trieu Phong and Hai Lang districts Deadline for Submission of Bids: 25 January 2021 at 15:00 hours (local time) 1.    The Socialist Republic of Vietnam has received financing from the Asian Development Bank toward the cost of the Basic Infrastructure for Inclusive Growth in the North Central Provinces Sector Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.  2.    The Project Management Unit of Basic Infrastructure for Inclusive Growth in Quang Tri invites from eligible Bidders for Construction of Inundation prevention system of Thuan-Trach – Trung-Tai, Ba Que, Vinh- Duong-Thanh communes in Trieu Phong and Hai Lang districts with the following details:   ●     Clearing and restoring two (2) drainage systems Thuan- Trach- Trung- Tai and Ba- Que- Vinh- Duong – Thanh with total length of 16.17 km and some local locations on Cuu Vinh Dinh canal; ●     Construction of four (4) new bridges, HL93 load: Dong Quan bridge, Don Que bridge, Dien Khanh bridge, Dong Duong bridge; ●     Upgrading three (3) roads with the scale of grade B rural road with total length of 4,058.19m, in which, the length of T1 is 2,174.97m (Hai Ba commune, from Phuong Hai pumping station to the production area, the starting point and the end point connecting with the existing concrete road; the length of T2 is 1,315.3m (Co Luy village, Hai Ba commune); the length of T3 is 1,367.92m (Hai Duong commune).  3.    National Competitive Bidding (NCB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Document.  4.    Only eligible Bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in the bidding:  ●     Participation in at least two (2) contracts that have been successfully or substantially completed within the last five (5) years and that is similar to the proposed works, where the value of the Bidder’s participation exceeds VND 73,000,000,000.
